Boston Early Music Festival presents for its
2009 edition a new production of L'incoronazione di Poppea
by
Giovanni Francesco Busenello and
Claudio Monteverdi.
Already invited in Boston for the two
productions of Lully's Thésée and Psyché
(2001 and 2007), Gilbert Blin who is Stage Director in
Residence at the
Boston Early Music Festival since 2008 directs the staging
of this new production and also designs the set.
Two other members of Groupe de Recherche have
collaborated to the set design : Rémy-Michel Trotier as
artistic assistant and Caleb Wertenbaker as technical
assistant.
