Applying
criteria
The
candidates
There is no age limit. There are no specific requirements about
the professionnal level or background of the candidates, who may
be students, professionals, amateurs, retired people, etc...
The
projects
The most important criteria concern the
project itself:
- the project must regard a skill
related to Drottningholm Slottsteater overall and the
practice of that skill, such as: architect, composer,
author, stage director, choreographer, set designer,
costume designer, singer, dancer, conductor, theatre or
music historian, photographer, etc...
- the project, concieved and
presented by the candidate must enable him/her to increase his/her
level of practice or knowledge of that skill.
The main criteria concern the running of
the project, which must :
- lead to an actual realisation, that
can be shared by all the members of the Academie Desprez ;
- be a way to acquire knowledge
- have a matter strongly related to
the study and the revival of intellectual modes of
Drottningholm's Golden Age (1766-1809) ;
- be a project allowing its bearer to
consider a historical matter using a contemporary
approach.
